Services every Saturday and Sunday

Djurgårdslinjen operates heritage tram services on route 7N every Saturday and Sunday from 17 August until 20 December.

The line, service, and tickets

The tram takes you from Norrmalmstorg in town to the scenic Djurgården island. There you will find the Vasa Museum, the Nordic Museum, Junibacken, the ABBA Museum, Skansen, Gröna Lund amusement park, the Hasselbacken restaurant, Cirkus, and the beautifully situated Waldemarsudde and Rosendal.
Line 7N runs on Saturdays and Sundays for most of the year. The season runs from late March until late December. During the summer, service is provided every day, from Monday to Sunday. Extra service is sometimes provided for events on Djurgården.

The line's stops are: Norrmalmstorg, Nybroplan, Styrmansgatan, Djurgårdsbron, Nordic Museum/Vasa Museum, Liljevalchs/Gröna Lund, Skansen, Djurgårdsskolan, Bellmansro (toward Norrmalmstorg), Waldemarsudde and return. Please note that services between Skansen and Waldemarsudde are limited.

Please note that the vintage service on Djurgårdslinjen is excepted from SL's accessibility guarantee, as our vintage trams are not built to modern standards.

Tickets

All of the tramway's revenues go to operation, maintenance, and renovation of our vintage trams. We do all this to help keep our cultural history in motion alive!

SL tickets

All SL tickets are valid on our trams.

  • Buy your ticket on your SL card or in the SL App before you board the tram. The conductor on board will then scan your ticket.

  • On the tram, you can also purchase a single ticket by tapping your bank card. Please note that only one ticket can be purchased per bank card. For groups travelling together to the same destination, we advise purchasing a group ticket via the SL App or using an SL card.

It is not possible to purchase cash tickets directly from the conductor.

Other valid fare media

In addition to SL tickets, membership cards from our affiliated associations are accepted as valid tickets for the bearer. Membership cards from the following associations are accepted:

  • Employees in Kungliga Djurgårdens intressenter. (Royal Djurgården Society)
  • Svenska Spårvägssällskapet (Swedish Tramway Society).
  • MRO Card (Swedish Association of Heritage Railways).
  • Spårvägssällskapet Ringlinien, Gothenburg.
  • Lokaltrafikhistorisk Forening, Oslo.
  • Bergens Elektriske Sporvei, Bergen.
  • Sporveishistorisk Forening, Trondheim.
  • Sporvejshistorisk Selskab, Skjoldenæsholm.
  • Suomen Raitiotieseura ry (Finnish Tramway Society).
